KiwiPan Festival
April 16 - 19th, 2026
Auckland, New Zealand
KiwiPan Festival is a joyful gathering for handpan players and enthusiasts to connect, share, and experience the magic of the world’s youngest instrument. Immerse yourself in soulful sounds, take part in inspiring workshops led by experienced educators, nourish your body with vibrant, wholesome meals, and feed your spirit through uplifting conversation and community.
After a wonderful 2025 festival, we’re thrilled to return in 2026 to the beautiful Dune Lakes Lodge. Enjoy delicious meals from Lottie’s Soul Food Depot, one of Auckland’s most celebrated caterers, and learn from a mix of international and local handpan educators and performers.
Celestial Sound Handpans will be joining us again, offering retunes and unique instruments for sale. Whether you already own a handpan or are curious to try one, there will be plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and even take home a new instrument. For owners, this is the perfect chance to have your handpan serviced or retuned by Australasia’s most trusted maker.
This year, our KiwiPan family grows even more global! We’re excited to welcome two incredible international artists: Dan Mulqueen (USA), bringing his dynamic style and deep grooves, and Maja Wlazly (Poland), whose expressive playing and soulful workshops are sure to inspire and uplift.
All are welcome — no handpan experience is required. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced players alike will find workshops, inspiration, and community to enrich their journey.
